The News Grind can today reveal a string of legendary show businesses stars who bat for the other side.
Our reporters have obtained documents, codenamed ‘No shit Sherlock’, which list performers past and present who are gay.
The News Grind understands that it was finding out that his name was included in the files that forced Joe McElderry to shock the country and announce he kissed other boys.
The list was believed to have been put together by MI5 to prevent the Duke of Edinburgh meeting stars who were gay at Royal Variety Performances and making inappropriate comments.
Despite desperately trying to be as macho as possible Liberace, Danny Le Roux, John Barrowman and Will Young are among those exposed today as hypocrites after having same sex relationships.
A Royal aide said: “The Duke loves making up new nicknames for gay people.
“His favourite is uphill gardener, but fudge packer and marmite muncher are also up there. When he meets someone who he knows is gay he can’t resist dropping them into conversation.
“A shiver goes down my spine when I remember the first time he met Duncan Norvelle.”
