X Factor star Frankie Cocozza is favourite to win through to the final six after it was revealed next week’s show will consist entirely of instrumental hits.
The 19-year-old has been given Booker T and the M.G.’s hit Green Onions to perform in front of the judges after surviving the axe on Sunday last night.
Judge Gary Barlow has said he is “overjoyed” at the decision.
“This is Frankie’s chance to really show off his best qualities,” said the Take That frontman.
“Singing is not Frankie’s strongest suit, but when it comes to stomping about, playing with his hair and adjusting his overly tight trousers, no-one can touch him. I believe his time has come.”
Kitty Brucknell has also welcomed the news that there will be no vocals on the show. She will prance about on stage in a diamond-studded leotard to the theme tune to Hawaii Five-0.
After two strong weeks in the show, diva Misha B is the contestant most under threat. She has to perfrom to a 22 minute section of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells.
Misha is favourite to go, with Janet Devlin likely to follow the following week as X Factor goes Thrash Metal for the first time.
