The Liberal Democrats will convene around Nick Clegg’s kitchen table next year and accommodate all 7 remaining voters using emergency chairs stored under the deputy Prime Minister’s stairs.
The Party is on course to disappear within three years if current rates of decline in their support continue.
But Clegg said today that they will “stick together until the end” and will convene each September at his home.
He is expected to ditch that promise as early as tomorrow.
