British tennis hope Andy Murray has called on the International Tennis Federation to reduce the number of tournaments on the tour, because he keeps losing them.
The sulking Scot wants players to join him on a strike, effectively ending speculation that he has been deliberately trying to lose for some time.
At a time when unemployment in the UK is at a 15-year high the multi-millionaire said he’s fed up of being worked like a dog and seeing his ranking suffer because he loses match after match.
“The fewer tournaments I play, the fewer I lose,” said Murray in a message relayed to reporters by his brother and bag carrier Jamie.
Murray has the support of Rafael Nadal, who is also unhappy with the state of world tennis.
Losing his number one ranking to Novak Djokovic has nothing to with it, he told The News Grind.
