Scientist have identified a low whining noise that is annoying working people across the UK.
The drone is heard throughout the year, except in the last week of July.
Scientists using specially designed headphones have been able to detect the words ‘marking’ ‘pressure’ and ‘planning’ on the highly irritating frequency.
Boffins say ‘Teachus Moanus’ is set to reach a peak this weekend as schools get ready to open for the new academic year.
Dr Felix Kennedy, an acoustics expert at the University of Cleethorpes, said: “The majority of working people can hear this irritating drone.
“It appears only people who have 13 weeks holiday every year are immune.
“The only way to fight it is to ensure any school age children you have eat as many sugary things for breakfast as possible, are allowed to stay up late on week nights and are instilled with a healthy disregard for authority figures, especially menopausal ones.”
