President Obama will not meet rabid consort Prince Philip on his visit to the UK.
Downing Street officials fear reprisals from the US if the Duke of Edinburgh utters a word in the direction of the world’s most powerful man.
“It’s a triple threat situation,” a Government insider told The News Grind.
“Obama is black, Irish and American. That’s three red rags to Prince Philip and God only knows what he’ll say.”
The Duke of Edinburgh is from a long line of royals who are a caricature of themselves.
His most famous gaffe came when he told a native American to “go and wash off” his skin.
The 89-year-old walking anachronism also offended French President Nicolas Sarkozy during a state visit in 2009. The Prince was overheard confessing in graphic detail his onanistic fantasies about British wheelchair athlete Tanni Grey-Thompson and Sarkozy’s wife Carla Bruni.
Prince Philip will spend the next two days locked in a basement area of Buckingham Palace.
He has been given six tins of Marks and Spencer soup, a blanket and a selection of specialist magazines to sustain him.
His mobile phone, which contains numerous pictures of Pippa Middleton’s arse, has been confiscated.
